We are taught that we should eat breakfast because it is the most important meal of the day. Unfortunately, the last 10 years breakfast became taboo in the fasting world. Skipping breakfast might be beneficial for some people but on the other hand it just does more harm to others.
I also thought that by skipping breakfast I would lose weight. At first, I did lose some weight. Then I hit a plateau. I pretty much stayed there for a few years. I tried everything nothing worked for me. Until I changed the time of my fast. I went from 12pm -6pm feasting to 7am to 3pm, 8 hours or 9am to 3pm, 6 hours and then Boom! I felt amazing waking up in the morning. Within a month my measurements started changing and in four months I lost I lost 30 pounds.
Eating earlier in the day and fasting for the remainder of the day helped to regulate my hormones especially the stress response by making me feel emotionally, mentally and physically better.
This 21-day journal is meant to get you started on your fasting journey. Most importantly it will open your mind to how meal timing is an important aspect to controlling your weight among having many other health benefits.
